    Marketing Science Statistician/Methodologist

    Job description
    Are you passionate about multiple statistical and econometric programming languages such as R, SAS, SPSS, or NLOGIT/LIMDEP?
    MarketView Research (MVRG) is seeking a Marketing Science Statistician/Methodologist to join our team as a full-time employee.
     
    • Consult with customers or internal team members by recommending statistical designs and methods most appropriate to answer research questions
    • Create designs for statistical models, such as best-worst scaling (max-diff) and conjoint/discrete choice
    • Conduct advanced statistical modeling and econometric analyses
    • Interpret analytical results and draw conclusions about findings
    • Assist in the creation of client deliverables, including PowerPoint reports and Excel-based spreadsheet simulators
    • Identify new opportunities for value-added analytics
    • Stay up to date on the most recent analytical, statistical and marketing science innovations and trends

    Desired Skills and Experience
    • 1-3 years of relevant experience
    • Master’s Degree or PhD in Econometrics, Marketing, Operations Research, Statistics, Psychometrics or other quantitative analysis fields
    • Technical knowledge/skills include: multivariate analysis, regression analysis, forecasting, and sampling
    • Knowledge of or aptitude to learn conjoint/discrete choice analysis, latent class and other segmentation methods.
    • Knowledge of hierarchical Bayesian linear and discrete choice modeling is a big plus
    • Intermediate expertise in programming SPSS, R, and/or SAS required. Proficiency in, Nlogit/LIMDEP is a plus
    • Intermediate expertise in Excel VB or other transferable programming skill are required. Intermediate expertise with data visualization tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.) is a plus
    • Must be able to work in-person at company office on most days

    Marketing Research Analyst

    MarketView Research is offering an entry or junior level opportunity for a professional pursuing a rewarding career in marketing research. The well-qualified individual will have a Bachelor's Degree in marketing research, general business, business management or marketing/advertising. A strong mathematics background is preferred. Candidates who hold a related Bachelor's Degree in psychology or sociology with research method experience may also be considered.

    The Marketing Research Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Account Manager in overseeing custom quantitative marketing research projects from inception to execution through reporting. 


    Desired Skills and Experience
    • 1 - 2 years of marketing research internships/experience a plus (i.e. experience in survey design and data analysis)
    • Detail oriented
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously/ability to prioritize

    Account Manager

    The Account Manager will have a minimum of 5 years of market research experience. The successful candidate will be a significant contributor to the team by overseeing the day-to-day operations on a variety of market research projects. The ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues and vendors is essential, as is a commitment to client service and satisfaction. Specific job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:   
    • Development of research proposals
    • Management of primary research projects, including questionnaire design, overseeing data collection, data process and analysis
    • Development of reports and presentations with actionable marketing and business implications
    • Effective management and training of junior staff
    • Generate new business

    Data Processing Tabulator

    Job description

    If you are a bright, self-starter looking for a full-time entry level position or have 1-2 years of experience at a market research supplier we would like to talk with you.     • Develop validation checks to ensure data integrity
    • Generate custom tabulations to meet study objectives; review tabulations for logic and accuracy
    • Apply statistical metrics and weighting criteria when applicable
    • Coordinate study updates with project and operations staff
    • Interact with outside statistical groups, vendors, and clients  


    Desired Skills and Experience 

    • At least 1 year as a market research tabulator or survey programmer preferred
    • Minimum education: BS (in Mathematics or Statistics a plus)
    • Expertise in Quantum or WinCross
    • Technical knowledge in programming SPSS, R, and/or SAS preferred
    • Intermediate expertise in Excel VB or data visualization tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.) is a plus
